# 운전자본

운전자본 (WC, Working Capital)은 유동자산에서 영업유동부채(예, 외상매입금)을 차감한 것이며, 자본비용을 부담하고 취득하여 영업활동에 사용되는 유동자산을 의미한다.

영업부채인 외상매입금, 미지급비용 등에는 이자가 발생하지 않기 때문에 수익성을 평가하는 대상이 되는 운전자본에는 포함시키지 않는 것이다.
